How long will it take to process my order?
Orders are processed on a first come, first serve basis. We will make every effort to make sure orders are processed as soon as possible, and no unnecessary delays occur in processing an order. In most cases orders are processed immediately, often shipping the same day for in-stock items.

During busy periods, delays may occur. All orders will be processed no later than 1-2 business days upon receipt, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with the payment verification. Items are allocated to your order when your order is being processed and after your payment has been verified, so on rare occasions stock may change by the time an order is being processed.

Once an order request has been received by us, you will receive periodic e-mails from us regarding the processing of your order. Within 24 hours of your order being shipped, you will receive an e-mail that contains the carrier tracking number for your order.

How do I know if a product is in stock?
The ComputerCity.com website has an interactive shopping cart that allows you to only order items that are in stock. Items with an 'Add To Cart' button on the item page are available and in stock for purchase.

Items that are OUT OF STOCK will be marked with an Out Of Stock notification and an option to opt-in your email address to be notified when the item comes back in stock.

While every effort is made to insure that availability and stock status is accurate, we cannot be responsible for inaccuracies published on the web site as they are dependant on supplier accuracy and information along with inventory fluctuations.

I just placed an order for an item that is out of stock. When will I be charged for it?
You will be charged for a backordered item upon order processing. After your order for an out of stock product is submitted, we will notify you of its anticipated delivery date. Any in stock products from your order will be shipped right away. For items that are backordered, you will receive periodic reminders of back ordered items and you will be given an opportunity to cancel any outstanding back orders with us.

In the event the product is unavailable, or if you wish to cancel the back ordered item before it is shipped, you will be issued a refund using the same method of payment you used to place the order, or a credit note. Please allow up to 2 to 4 business days for refunds to be processed.

How long does it take for back ordered items to get sent?
Items that are unavailable will be placed on back order, and the remainder of your order will be shipped. Please check our web site for the back ordered item's estimated time of arrival. Please note that these dates are estimates and not guaranteed to arrive on that date.

For items that are backordered, you will receive periodic reminders of back ordered items and you will be given an opportunity to cancel any outstanding back orders with us.

Where possible, we will make every effort to alert customers of potential delays, or possible substitutions to the originally ordered item (such as a video card or RAM with similar specifications).

Is it safe to shop on-line at ComputerCity.com?
At ComputerCity.com, we guarantee your privacy and on-line shopping safety.

We will never share your personal and private information with anyone, and any personal information we do collect, we will only use to properly process and deliver your order.

We are secured with an SSL certificate and are hosted by Shopify to guarantee your protection. All your personal information and credit card information is stored on secured servers.

Does ComputerCity.com match competitors' pricing?
At this time we do not have a pricematch program.

Does ComputerCity.com handle international or Canada orders?
At this time we ship exclusively to the United States.

What taxes do I pay?
Customer is responsible for all local, state, federal, and import taxes related to their purchase that we DO NOT COLLECT.  ComputerCity will collect sales tax for select states that we are registered with.

For tax information please look for the tax calculation in our checkout.

How do I cancel my order?
Our order system is FIRM meaning that orders placed are not always able to be cancelled.  However, it may be possible to cancel an order that has not yet been sent to our warehouse for packaging. To do so you must CALL US during our normal business hours.  For our contact information please visit our Contact Us page.

Due to standard response times, we do not recommend attempting to cancel an order via Email or other method.

If an order has been processed and we are unable to cancel it you may file for a return request to return your items back to us.  Please be aware that the return would be subject to our return policy and may incur fees.

What warranty do I get with products I've bought?
ComputerCity.com directly protects all product(s) sold to be in good working condition and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of up to thirty (30) days from your invoice date (or less if stated in the product listing).

After this thirty (30) day window has passed all Warranty and Service issues must be taken up with the manufacturer. 

All CPUs/Processors carry a seven (7) day exchange-ONLY return policy where you can only send them back for an identical replacement for a period of seven (7) days after receipt.

Laptops, Notebooks, Desktops, and Tablets cannot be returned for any reason after they have been unsealed.  See the manufacturers for direct warranty coverage after opening these devices.

All returns must be sent back in their original packaging along with the original accessories, cables, free gifts (if applicable), unopened software and manuals must be present and is subject to inspection before warranty approval. Any product with a tampered serial number or UPC code will be denied warranty service or exchange.

To return a product you must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from us. Shipping charges to and from your location are not covered as part of our RMA/Returns process..

For manufacturers' return policies please consult the manufacturer of the product you have issue with. Manufacturers will repair, return or replace items in accordance with their own policies. Please contact them for details.

Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Modifying a product in a permanent way is considered physical damage. ComputerCity.com cannot honor warranty for CPU's or Motherboards that have bent pins, cracked or chipped cores, burnt or otherwise sustained any other type of physical damage. Physical damage voids any warranty previously implied for any product.

What warranty do I get on software, DVDs, or games that I've bought?
Software, DVDs and video games must be in the original box and unopened (still in its original shrink wrap). Please note that due to advances in CD and DVD copying technology, we do not accept any opened or used software, DVDs or video games.

Defective software will be exchanged with the same title and is subject to availability.

How do I get an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) from ComputerCity.com?
To obtain an RMA / Returns authorization number please click 'File A Return/RMA' link at the bottom of this page.

Follow the instructions on that page and you will be emailed back more information on your return.


What shipping methods will ComputerCity use to ship my order?
Packages shipped by us may come from one of the major shipping carriers including (but not limited to):

USPS
UPS
Fedex
DHL
On-Trac
LTL/Freight

All products and orders are FOB (free on board) from our warehouse in Henderson, NV. Weekend delivery is not available. We do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays.

Do you Ship Internationally?
At this time we ship exclusively to the United States of America


What are the duties (or custom tariffs), VAT, and taxes?
The governments of the destination state/country determines the duties (or custom tariffs), VAT, taxes that are charged for the products being imported into the country. These charges for customs clearance must be paid for by the recipient. ComputerCity does not have control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. ComputerCity recommends that you contact your local customs office for more information.

What is the voltage specification of your electrical products?
Unless otherwise specified, all products requiring electricity for normal operation that we sell are designed for use with 120V, 60Hz. The products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards and may require the use of an adapter or converter for normal operation.
